If you become sick, contact your local healthcare centre directly. Healthcare centres are managed by the regional government; you can find information and contact details for local healthcare centres at the Region Halland website.

You can also phone the medical care hotline on the following telephone number, 1177. On the hotline, experienced nurses will take your phone call and answer your questions about medical care and health 24 hours a day. If you feel poorly or have injured yourself, 1177 can, for example, provide information about whether there is something that you yourself can do to alleviate the problem, or if you ought to seek care from a nurse or a doctor.
